Purchased this table set in November as a Christmas present for my son. He opened the package in Feburary to put together. There was some scratches on the coffee table but decided to put it together anyway.
It was less than a week later the table cracked. One of the sides of the table completely fell off. This product is of poor workmanship and is not worth the money or headache to purchase.
I was told their return policy had to be within 48 hours. This company does not stand behind its products and I can see why I really like these tables. Unfortunately the coffee table had a crack in it and one of the screw pieces to hold the leg in place was missing. I didn't want the hassle or returning it so I just kept it,but other than that they were a great buy easy to put together and very sturdy. Firstly you should know that the espresso is very dark to the point where I thought it was black.
The finishing does look good though and worked well in my apartment. The problem I had is that the material is very weak and from time to time I will find screws on my floor where they have fallen out the table. The end tables seem to hold up much better than the coffee table.
I would not recommend this for anyone living in a home but maybe for an apartment you know you wont have that long. One person found this helpful. Really nice heavy tables for the money! Pleasantly surprised. This table gets dirty fast and leaves finger prints by one touch. Easy to assemble but you get what you pay for. It is difficult to keep fingerprints wiped off.
